One of my sister's presents this past year happened to be a kitten. He is one odd kitten. He is often seen attacking thin air. He will meow incessantly, then when you go to pick him up, he starts crying. If he could talk, he would cry out, "Put me down!"
This morning was the best example of this. My door was closed and he was roaming just outside. He started meowing, so I got up and opened the door. The instant I opened the door, he darted around the corner.
I left my door open, and he decided to walk into my room. Of course, this time, when I turned my head to look at him, he darted under my bed.
I went back to what I was doing, and a few minutes later my foot got attacked. I look down and there he was under my desk pawing at my foot. Weird cat. I went to pick him up, and I placed him on my lap. He started whining and crying, so I thought, "Ok, back on the floor you go." He walked around for a minute or so, then appeared on my left side. He was staring at me and meowing. Cat, you make no sense. I picked him up again, and plopped him down on my lap again. This time he didn't complain, and actually fell asleep.
I guess he found the blanket I had wrapped around me quite comfortable (which was crocheted by my Mom).
This evening, I actually got a semi decent picture of him (yea, not really decent).
