So, in the span of a couple weeks I have been uber busy. I became President of the CSUN Photo Club, we're working hard on getting ready for our first exhibition. I've also been working hard on editing down my work into concise portfolios. I haven't gotten very far with that, yet. I do have one group that I think work wonderfully together, though. It's exciting.

Been shooting some color now since I am in a color photography class (traditional color printing in a color darkroom, too!). Portra 160 is amazing. VC moreso than NC. This is VC.

We had some fires (of course we did, it is so cal...) a few weeks ago. I went outside one morning and it was literally orange. I took some frames, but it didn't quite capture the ambiance.

Reoccuring theme?

Rest of that roll was kind of a waste. First time I shot this specific film, the next roll of it is much better.

Later, at coffee bean, this group was majorly inconvenienced by a small bug.

Inappropriate conversations cause these kinds of expressions.

I went back to the annenberg space for photography, hoping the restaraunt I went to before was open, but it wasn't. Made one frame (I've made the same type of composition in black and white). I think I like the color version better.

Semester started. I'm the President of my school's photo club. 15 units. Lots of work, but so far it's all fun and enjoyable. It'll be a good semester!

Home. Which, incidentally, is the name of the first group exhibition the photo club is putting on. It'll be open from September 25th to October 1st with a closing reception on the 1st from 5-7PM. This is at CSUN's west gallery.

Karaoke! One good image from this night. I took 3 shots like this because I thought this one wasn't going to come out (it was at 1/8th). Purposefully underexposed the next two. Was a little surprised to see this was the best.

Lesley. :) Taken with a Voitglander 40mm, not sure what version of it. Friend bought an M6 and a Bessa R4A. The bessa came with a 40mm. I don't think I like 40mm as a focal length.
