So, World Press Photo disqualified a winner after deciding that the photographer digitally manipulated the image.

If you scroll down a little bit there's a mouseover image to see the difference between the unaltered image and the edited one. Disregarding his removal of a background element the "photograph" he ended up with is so far removed from the original photo that to even try to argue that it wasn't digitally manipulated would be laughable.

Sleater-kinney are one of those bands that I binge listen to. Then I get tired of them and don't for a month or two. I'll then have iTunes/foobar open on random and a song of theirs comes on and it'll always blow me away. Currently, that song is Things You Say.
