This was my bed and wall for a while, editing down a selection of images.

My Leica was having problems with advancing the film. This was an unintentional double exposure. The rewind knob would get really tight so if I tried to advance the film would slip and not advance correctly. Finally got fed up and took the rewind knob off, there were 5 washers on it. One of them was dented a little, so I thought it was that one. Left 4 on and tried advancing again, but it still got stuck. Ended up only leaving two on (a smaller one and one larger one). Works perfectly now.

Guess I'll give this a try, possibly posting less, maybe not living up to that. Dunno. These were from the exhibition the photo club at my school put on towards the beginning of the semester (just to give you an idea about how far behind I am).

It was called Home. This is Jim and Lesley.

I didn't shoot coverage of the closing reception as I feel I should have. There were tons of things going on and many things going through my head so I'm sort of surprised I have what I did shoot.

This sculpture appeared on campus early in the semester. I now know it was done by Mylan Chacon and the title of it is Bird's Nest. Didn't know that until just a few weeks ago. Gave Mylan a print of this shot..

It actually rained earlier this year... My M6 got quite wet.

I was out behind our darkroom eating lunch (without my camera with me) and there was someone standing framed perfectly by the entrance to the ceramics place. He was there for quite some time. I finished eating and returned, but he was gone. I took the shot regardless, though it would have been much better if he was there.

Manone visited our campus. There was a lecture and a demonstration. It was interesting.

I only documented the demonstration part, the small lecture hall was way overcrowded and I didn't stay for much of that.

Everyone was allowed to try it. Suppose the only difference was that this was done on butcher paper, rather than the actual wall.

After the demo, I was walking back to the darkroom, which is just to the left of this scene. I saw all these people standing in front of the wall, thought it was the weirdest thing ever so I had to take a shot.

Turns out it was a drawing class (found out when I passed the doors to the darkroom, noticed more clearly that they were all drawing the vines).

I "reorganized" the lost negatives.

Not quite right? Printing color can be frustrating.

When I took this, he didn't think I caught him in frame.

They repaved a part of the street I take to get to school. It was only like this for one night. I stopped that night and took a few frames. The dust kicked up mixed with the headlights of cars made it look interesting. I'm not sure why but my panning shot looks odd. I would have expected it to be more smooth.

That's all for now. I cross processed a roll of Ektachrome 100G and pushed it a stop. The results were ok, I'll post them in the next entry!
